SBL comes back to stun SSC in overtime

Many will look at the second half as the turning point of Sergeant Bluff-Luton’s 83-75 overtime victory over South Sioux City Friday night in Sergeant Bluff.

North boys hang on to defeat South Sioux

Rebounding and sharp free throw shooting were the keys Tuesday night for Sioux City North in the Stars’ 65-60 victory over South Sioux City at the Cardinal Mini-Dome.
North (10-9) hit the boards especially hard in the first half, securing a whopping 20-3 advantage on the glass. Not coincidentally, the rebounding edge translated to a 16-11 North lead after one quarter and a 36-26 bulge at the halftime break. (continue reading…)
