Music Club hosts Americana Rocker!

He began his career as a teenager with the band ‘Green on Red’. After touring the world and earning critical acclaim for his guitar work he went on his own forming the band ‘the Mission Express’. He has become one of the top American rock musicians in the land. And now, Sioux City music fans have a unique opportunity to see Chuck Prophet live in concert. Saturday, December 5, Prophet will be performing one of only two Midwest shows on this tour, at the Patio in a show hosted by the Sioux City Live Music Club.

Chuck Prophet writes songs about life from an angle that makes many of his loyal fans wince…then chuckle. The thought-provoking lyrics are the result of growing up on stages around the world, years of battling demons and a crazy, rock lifestyle. This served as the perfect canvas for Prophets artwork. His songs are real. The soul-filled vocals blend with master guitar work to create a tasty slice of life. He has played with artists as diverse as Warren Zevon and Kelly Willis and shared the stage with the likes of Lucinda Williams, Cake and many more. A Chuck Prophet and the Mission Express experience entrances audiences leaving them thirsting for more of his enlightenment.
The Sioux City Live Music Club is a non-profit organization formed to support original live music in Sioux City through live performances and promotion. All proceeds go to support future shows, local charities and Eagles charities. Tickets for the show are $10 and can be purchased at the Patio, 414 20th Street, the Sioux City Eagles, 416 Jackson and from any Music Club member.
