Walken hitting it hard
One local rock group is warming the winter nights with a smoking-hot mix of contemporary rock tunes. The band, ‘Walken’ might be one of the hardest working bands in town this winter. Their busy schedule is taking them to several of the top music venues in Siouxland. Within the next few weeks this experienced band will have performed 8 shows in 4 different venues. This weekend, January 8 and 9, they will rock the back room at Rhonda’s Speakeasy. The band combines the skill of long time band mates Todd Young, Tom Miller, Matt Nelson and newcomer Jason Henjes. Their mix of tunes from bands like Blink 182, Nickelback, Pink Floyd and Metallica guarantees music fans a night of rocking fun.
